Can I lay can on it's back

i'm working on 56 and I was wondering if I could unbolt the cab from the frame and roll it onto its back on some padding to work on the bottom of the cab. I have the bed removed and it would be easy to do I was just wondering if anyone has thoughts on the structural integrity of the cab laying on its back.

Also looking for a Cowl vent brace and handle for 56 if anyone has one for sale let me know

It's very helpful in cleaning and painting the underside of the cab

I do it all the time. Many times when I just want to get a better angle on the lower firewall I will tilt the cab back and let the upper edge of the rear window opening rest on a barrel or sawhorse.

Yup, that's what I do on my 49. Makes working on the underneath of the cab a lot easier.

Same with me! I made sure I put some thick blankets down before I laid it on it's back and had no problems......
