More free stuff, '53-'56 fenders

I have a pair of '53-'56 F100/250 front fenders that I won't be using. I bought new reproductions to speed up the painting process (yeah that worked).

The driver's fender will take very little work to be ready for paint.

The passenger fender is not in as good of condition. It has the common rust around the "brow" and some around the bottom. It also has a few dents, including a deep dent with some creasing near the bottom. I'm sure it can be repaired, just not by someone with my limited skills.

The price is $0, you pay for or arrange shipping. I'll bring them to Truckstock, if you can wait that long, or I might be convinced to bring them to you if you live near something interesting. I like hiking in new areas.

I originally offered them to another member here, but he is still a ways off from paint and said to offer them up for grabs.

Edit: more pictures upon request.

I'd love to have em. But hiking in Illinois isn't all that interesting. LOL. What a great offer to members here!

I would like that drivers side fender, it is better then the one on my '53, what do you think it would cost to ship to Cape Coral FL?

Wolf was first to respond, so we'll have to see what he says first.

That said: Shipping on my new fenders (I still have the boxes) was $96.34 each in 2011, Oklahoma City to Kentucky. I recently bought a grille that was the same length box, not as wide or tall, but around the same weight (he packed it well). The shipping on it was $157, Dayton Ohio to Kentucky.

I could use the drivers fender as well.

I'm in WV, Greenbrier County to be more specific. Come on over.

They both look nice to me! Of course, I'm from Illinois. So I'm used to BIG holes in metal!

Talking with Merten now.

Dave, Tahoe might be a bit of a stretch. I do have a friend that lives in Southern California, but If I went to see him I'm not sure they would let me check a fender as baggage.
