1993 F700 hub cap part #

Haven't owned this truck for long and need to do some repairs before i can drive it. On of the problems at the moment is that the hub cap window on the drivers side is broken and leaking. I attached a picture so you can see what kind of hub cap it has. Problem is that i can't really go to local dealership and ask a new one, since these haven't been ever sold here. I've looked for one on the internet, but haven't found a correct one. It has Ford and Stemco stamps, but the hub cap has only 4 bolts, which have made my search a pain, since there is usually 6 attaching bolts. So do you know correct part # for the hub and maybe where i can buy one. Thanks!

This is not a hub cap and I've never seen or heard of a hub cap window.

Where is the truck located? Your "About Me" profile says FI .. but I have no idea what country this abbreviation represents.

So, what's actually leaking, a front seal on the axle? Is it 4WD?

This a wet hub. Used on trailers,bigger truck front hubs. The plug snaps out fill with what ever oil is called for. Most seem to use 85-90. The plug is avaible at truck/trailer shops. Bet napa carries them too. Truck / trailer supply carries Stemco.

FI = Finland.

Is OP looking at:

Product Search | STEMCO

I suggest OP post a picture of the warranty/data plate from the drivers door. (these things changed from an embossed metal plate to a sticker at some point) I will have the VIN, GVWR, and transmission and the AXLE CODES on it. From the axle code, the hb cap info might be found. Might.

The sticker (Certification Label) is composed of a clear outer layer, printed inner layer. The label got wet and...

Sooner or later, this could cause the outer layer to peel off, taking some/all of the inner layer along with it.

Thanks for replies ... Yep, from Finland and no Napa stores here to look for a replacement. Basically if you're not in to European cars or Chevy trucks, you're screwed trying to find parts. Here's the pic from the door sticker. If it's not too much trouble for you have the possibility to decode the vin, i would appreciate it. Hopefully it shows the correct hub cap for it also....
