ive got a few vent tubes on my 4R100,
the line that looks like its supposed to go to the back of the engine is open,
should there be a cap for it?
or does it connect to something else?
one of the things I didn't take note of when I pulled it :\

 

There is one vent from the trans. It is on top, towards the front of the trans, just behind the bellhousing. The transfer case also has a vent. I believe both hoses run up the front of the cab in the engine compartment.

yes it is a 4 wd trans,
is this tube in question, supposed to have a cap on it like a differential vent tube?
