Website looks good, if the forum rates them high could be a good option, that's in the 1 day UPS zone.

If the Portland shop is good they may have one on the shelf waiting to go if I decide the IP is bad.

their reputation has gone downhill over the years. just like all other injector pump rebuilders.
the big problem is with these pumps the clearance in the pump head increases over time and no one addresses that except for Justin at R&D and Mel at Conestoga diesel.

Ok that settles it, I don't like doing things twice because of bad rebuilds.

I don't like doing things twice because I screw up either but I do know where the blame goes there...

screwups are a side effect of getting old.

DFI is good for modern electronic injectors, they sell new Stanadyne injectors, but I wouldn't buy a pump from them.

Given your location...R&D definitely.

I've had a turbo rebuilt by Conestoga Diesel, but they're pretty local to me. I'll probably have them do my pump when its time.

Same for me in Los Angeles. It's worth the wait for shipping. Plus he stands behind his work. I know he's busy at the moment, but I'm sure he has an IP on the shelf for you.

I'm certainly in agreement that Justin at R&D is a great choice. I'm running his stage 1 cam at the moment. I do however like to support the local economy when possible. That being said, Conestoga is only about 40 min away from me and they have a solid reputation themselves.
