56 F100 Stock Seat value
I have a newly reupholstered stock seat from my 56 all redone from top to bottom, but I lowered it about an inch at the brackets, what would this be worth if I were to sell it. I picked up a new bench seat at a swap meet Sunday that will go with the look of my truck which is the reason I'm asking. Pic is of the one I may sell.

Here in SoCal an OEM seat with undamaged springs is worth $100 minimum. The new upholstery adds value but if it doesn't match the buyer's taste then that value is diminished. Lowering the seat is actually a benefit since these seats sit too high anyway...in most cases. Craigslist will let you know what the market will bear.

I had the same issue recently. I was getting rid of my stock seat with new grey vinyl. Nowhere could I get an idea of the value. But did see a few other threads of people trying to sell theirs. But no listing of cost.
And since the covers themselves cost $200-$300 I had to imagine that the seat with a new cover would be north of that price.
I ended up trading mine to the guy who did the bead blasting of my frame. Which would have cost me $350 if I were to pay cash. Then traded the door panels that matched for another $100 worth of blasting he did on the rear differential of the Corvette rear end.
