I'm not trying to offend anyone, but that question has been asked and answered a thousand times.

To find answers go to ford six dot com, and go to their tech section. There you'll have to read and take notes.

Good luck.

Hello 56fordguy. This is something that's asked about once a week, so there is a TON of information already available. Look back through the posts, do some searches on intakes, four barrel carburetors, ignition, etc. and read up on it. Then, if you have specific questions, feel free to ask!

There's more info already here on that subject than you could ever use. Good luck!

If you are only looking for more acceleration, the best bang for the buck is actually going to a lower gear ratio in the axle.

The most bang for the buck has just got to be recurving distributor. Costs next to nothing, other than your time. Maybe a few bucks for a spring kit. Need a timing light.

Unless it's a misprint he said 200 not 300. They don't have removable intakes without swapping to an Aussie 250-2V head or the aftermarket aluminum head.
