Adding front camera question

Looking at adding a front camera to my 2016 CCSB F350 Lariet. As I am frugal looking at going low dollar (not cheap). Will this work? Looking at adding a wired camera. Power will come from one of the up lifter switches. Can I plug the RCA video into the RCA plug in the storage compartment on the dash and view the front camera on the dash screen when I turn the switch on? In my mind it will work but my mind does not alway match reality!

I am sure this will sound like a dumb question, probably because it is, but what will a front camera show you that cannot be seen by looking out the windshield? Now, if you are thinking/talking recording for insurance purposes, that is a different ball game.

the blind spot of the 2016 in front of the truck is much larger than my old 2000. Having the front camera comes in handy when parking the camper and whenever you want to use every inch of room without hitting something. After almost a year, I still park about 3 feet further away from things than I think I am because it seems like you are a lot closer than You actually are (to me at least). The only dumb question is the one not asked!

I know what you mean there is a huge difference in mind as well from a 2002 to 2016 although I should be frugal I just decided to go all out and get a kit by a company called Brandon Moshen they make all kinds of different things for front rear and 360° vision around the vehicle I got the 360 with the blind spot assist. They also have some cameras that are built into a front license plate frame you might want to check them out and see what they have. Again company is Brandmotion
