95 E250 5.8 headers

Bought a 95 E250 with a 5.8 this past summer from California. Would it make sense to get rid of the cats and put on headers and dual exhaust? Would it make enough more power to justify the cost? Also who makes headers for the 5.8 that fit a van? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have PaceSetters on my 96 E150. Well the pass side is a PaceSetter. The driver's side is a Summit Racing shorty that I used to replace the PaceSetter that cracked at the collector after a few years in service. No problems with fit. I did fabricate a sheet metal heat shield for the pass side as it's pretty close to the factory insulation there just to insure that no extra heat was transferred there. I fabricated a single 3" exhaust from the Y pipe all the way out the rear, pretty easy job as it's all straight from the Y to the muffler (Dynomax Super Turbo truck muffler) the tailpipe is a mandrel bent stainless unit from Flowmaster (I think, it's been several years now since I did this) It's for an F150. Fits perfectly, only had to shorten the front end of the pipe to fit to the longer muffler. Cat is a 3" high flow unit I used with a matching 2-1/2 dual to 3" Y connector
