Truck is stock no mods as of yet. Taking it to ford dealership tomorrow to put on machine. Just trying to see what everyone else thinks so I can be more educated when they start throwing out stuff to me. Yes the turbo is low numbers. Thanks for the reply.
Also no filters or anything has been changed by myself. Bought the truck with 132.000 on has 133,000 now. Started acting like this about a month after I purchased it. Have had it for 5 mo now.
Fair warning, it can be a $1000 or more to take care of a DPF problem. If you are thinking about deleting, keep that in mind before spending money to take care of the sensors/dpf if that is what the problem is.
sounds like your truck is overheating and is going into limp mode. i suggest doing a little research on limp mode for your year of truck. good luck and i hope you figure it out. hope its not to big of a problem.
I have a p040d code and limp mode. I broke off the sensor on the up pipe. does anyone think I can get a egr and dpf delete tuner that it'll bypass this sensor? then I can just plug it in and zip tie it somewhere?
