Hopefully you don`t get as much use out of your furnace as we do here, at times it seems it runs about a third of the time.

We can get some use out of it Morris. We have had some cold winters here where it drops down into the teens at night even single digits once in awhile.

Ice and snow is common here, we get 4 months of real winter and another month of lousy tobogganing.

I don`t mind snow as much as the bitter cold, a two or three day blizzard is another winter bonus.

I dont mind the cold much. And I really dont mind the snow. I like a good blizzard that closes work for a couple days to maybe a week or two. Then again when work closes because of the weather I get unscheduled closing pay in addition to my regular pay so it works out to double time to sit at work and look like I am doing something.

Good morning guys.
We are in the shoulder season here.
Not really using AC or heat.
Although a couple of times at night this week the furnace did kick on for a few minutes. But it ran maybe a total of 5 minutes per day so not much.

We havent turned the heat on at my house yet Ian. That wont happen for maybe a few more weeks. In the office we dont really turn the heat on much at all. With allof the electronics it hardly comes on.

I don`t mind the cold till it dips into the double digits and unless we get way too much all at once I don`t mind the snow either. Warm days turn the snow to ice which means the road salt trucks come out so vehicles get rusted out early in life.
Here in the last three weeks the AC hasn`t been needed.

We have needed the A/C a bit here and there over the last week or two. Temps have not really come down to normal yet.

Good morning folks.
We're still in this warm spell although yesterday was a crappy bit of a day. I was raised in southern Manitoba ans we got some real harsh winters, very few snow days as kids weren't spoiled back then and if we lived within town limits there was no bus service so we all had to walk to school. Will have control over the furnace in the new place and need to pay the utilities so I'm hoping for a warm winter.
