So ive been in the market to replace my lifters and rockers. I have a 2004 newer body style f150 build date 06/04. There are two part numbers from ford for lifters. 3l3z6500ba for the early style lifters and 5l1z6500a for 05 to 09. What is the difference between the two. Can i use the newer style if i change my rockers and cams also. The rockers are the same part number. The cams are different part numbers. Im seeing lifter and rocker kits everywhere for 04 to 09. I dont know what i can and cant use. I would rather use the new style due to issues with the old style. This is rediculous. I thought picking my oil pump was a tough decision but this..........
