Since I no longer receive the paper, I no longer get that cool last page of weather stats. I am NEVER able to find precipitation last 24 hours, ytd, etc. None of the weather places I go seems to give a rip about the SF valley. Anyone find one that doesn't take a week of searching for precip stats?

I just go out and empty my rain gauge, first noting its reading.

And now we have the 2 extremes. I'm looking for a middle of the road type app with temp, precip, forecast, and ytd stats for West Hills specifically, and online.

 

Charly, I like Climate's FieldView app for iPhones - perhaps I'm biased... It's an app for Farmers to track weather in their fields, but hey, we can play that game too.


I pick out a 2 acre section near my house and call it Sean's Field No.1. I can get some historic weather/precip data, likely more available for $$FieldView Plus. Kinda fun to compare my front yard gauge with theirs or different parts of town (just add more fields to your farm).
