I always thought about taking a class to better my welding skills. I'm just a hobbyist so it's not needed for work or any kind of certification.

I don't know about sneakier, I can say we were more competitive. Its straight up the shore, not a hop skip and a jump, but a easy commute, 57 miles. I was in DC/No VA, that was a heck of a drive, 75 miles, Friday nights it would take 2 1/2 hours sometimes or more. One kind of cool thing is one of my kids are going to the state skills competition and its at our old school at CAT north in April. I've been talking to the instructor at Carroll county, he knows our welding teacher, told him the next time he see's him that I followed in his footsteps.

I did just add a Esab plasma cutter to my collection. I can't wait to try it out.
