Horn and cruise does not work
I have a 1989 Bronco 4x4 with a 302 and it is automatic With the ignition off the horn works but with the ignition on it does not and the cruise control does not work. I checked the fuse and it is good. I replaced the horn relay and the rag joint. I took a wire from the body to the steering shaft and the horn worked with the ignition on. I have had it for about 14 years and it spent about 8 years in my garage for some work and the rest of the years were spent in 2 different body shops. Everything worked when I bought it but not now. HELP

Gary, Have a Haynes manual handy print shows a lt. blue /black wire coming out of your cruise control amplifier via a slip ring to your cruise control switch. The ground wire also shows a slip ring as well .The horn relay is drk. / blue feeding from your horn relay through a slip ring. All this is on page 12-38 under the chassis electrical system. It could be your slip rings need greasing or you have connections that have corroded. Doing searches on google or in this site may yield more info.(cruise control works intermittently or cruise control does not work)No print try this-http://www.supermotors.net/clubs/superford/registry/media/561431 Good luck TR
