My uncle bought the truck new, it has a little over 93 thousand miles on it. But it has been sittng in a barn for the past fifteen years. I'm going to go through everything to get it running. Anyways it has the in tank electric fuel pumps. What replacement fuel pumps does everybody recommend? Tanks

You probably don't have much choice in pumps. They may have different names, but they all come from china. I just looked at rockauto and they have Spectra, Airtex, Carter and Delphi.

Welcome to FTE! You can find part numbers for the pumps here: Fuel Senders & Pumps - ???Gary's Garagemahal. And, while that may not be a lot of help, at least you'll know the #.

This truck looks like it has two fuel pump relays? Or does one go to the fuel tank selector valve? thanks

Wiring diagrams are here for the fuel system on that truck: Electric Fuel Pump Control - ???Gary's Garagemahal. You might want to poke around on my site as a lot of what you are going to need to know can be answered there. For instance, electrical and vacuum info and troubleshooting is here: 1986 EVTM - ???Gary's Garagemahal.

Gary's diagram shows the system with one relay, the fuel shut off relay that is controlled by the oil pressure switch. That's the way my Haynes manual shows it also. But there is another diagram that uses two relays, one for the fuel pump shut-off, and another for fuel pump selection. I don't know when they started using the two relay system. Here's a diagram for the two relay system.
