WELCOME TO FTE !

Nice looking Bullnose ! Love the paint scheme. Value is subject to area or region. In North East Ohio, that truck in turn-key condition would drag down anywhere from 7 to 9k easy. SWB, dual tanks and 4WD, all stock engine with rims and tires...
Oh yea. If mine, I would put it up for 8500 with a 500 OBO buffer, taking 8k. And up here....I would get it. But....If mine, I wouldn't sell it
Looks like you are in the Southwest ?

Beautiful!
Are you planning on selling?
Other than the cab being sun bleached to death, looks to be in great condition.

Tread to my 1st knuckle

Yes, I'm planning to sell it. As a slogan says: have one built for you. We had this one built for us in Fall of 81 and have been the only owners. Never been in a wreck, never taken for joy ride in the desert. Only damage is from AZ sun and someone who bumped my rear fender while I was in a store.

Door Panels

I would take the time to repaint the door panels vs. trying to find them in a Junkyard risking getting the same or worse....SEM makes a great product for spraying interior trim pieces. It's a shame you are not going to keep it as the 7th Gen trucks are really solid and are considered to be the last of the
"Built Ford Tough" trucks.

Quick run down

AC works fine. It sometimes sticks in the on position, but I believe it's just an adjustment in the lever. The trip odometer seems to not work. Passenger door lock not working. Interior door panels will probably need to be replaced, see picture, plastic is deteriorating around the edges. Ceiling and visors have been replaced and look new. Paint is faded and shows it's normal age. It may have surface scratches but no dents! I am not aware of any other issues. This vehicle was mine when I was in college and my dad took it and took care of it afterwards. He was a jet engine mechanic/specialist/supervisor in the Air Force and maintained the truck himself. My dad also I own a 65 Mustang which he restored, and an 85 Trans Am. He didn't like the newer cars because they weren't as easy to work on. I would be surprised if it had been driven over 1000 miles in the last three years. Probably less than 100 miles in the last year.

I appreciate everyone's answers to my questions. Thanks.

The passenger side door Has to be unlocked from the inside of the vehicle.. Obviously there's no radio. I'm not a mechanic but it appears that everything else seems to be functional. My dad was a jet engine specialist for the Air Force and maintained the truck himself. In addition to this truck he also had a 65 Mustang which he completely restored, and an 85 Trans Am. He did not like the newer cars because they were not as easy to work on. Because of the Arizona sun the interior door panels have deteriorated and the exterior paint is faded; however, although there are some surface scratches, this truck has no dents.
Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone for your responses!

You know me too well! Just have to find another Flareside bed,....But the Shortbed Stylesides do look cool Too.

Maybe I can make mine a Flareside/Styleside bed by continuously swapping beds dependent on my mood of the season?

A simple winch would solve that problem....like taking a cap off of a bed
