im not having much luck diagnosing my problem. front hvac works 100%. rear hvac, only blows from the ceiling and only cold air, no heat. i recently replaced both actuators with Motorcraft brand replacements. its been working fine until tonight. i checked for voltage and both are getting their fair amounts. theres no popping or clicking sounds from the actuators. im just not sure where to go from here, any ideas?

 

Have you tried disconnecting the actuator linkage and moving it yourself?

 

i sure hate to post this, im usually pretty good about these kinds of things, but, D shaped shafts will not fit in cross shaped openings... ugh... facepalm.

 

The shaft wasn't round with threads?

 

no, i for some reason bought D shafts, my application requires cross shafts.
