Cable adaptor from OBD1 to OBD2??? :-huh

Hi all ! looking for some OBD2 cable adapters I found a cable adapter to be used on F Series 1992 to 1996 having the old 7 pin connector that I didn't see before. A lot of questions come to my brain...

1. The old EEC-IV Diagnose connector has a communication standard??
2. It can be adapted to OBD2 with just a simple cable?
3. Someone else knows something about it? can point me to any web with more info about??

Thanks in advanced for your help

unless the code reader you are using is obd-1 compatible, it will not work.
my old autoXray EXscan 4000 was not . the newer EZ 6000 is.
you can plug it in to the old reader, but it will not work.

That cable is made for specific code readers that can communicate with both standards as mentioned. It will not work with normal code readers.
