Remote seat heat Question

I have read the manual and applied the settings however, When I remote start I need the heater to come on. I can hear the defrost fan on low but no heat or seat heat. When I push the start button (while in remote running mode) the seat a/c comes on. I have adjusted the settings in the console a few different ways and even adjusting the stereo/ climate unit to auto.
How do I get heat/defrost and seat heat while in remote start?

It's automatic depending on the temp outside, if it's supper cold then the heat will come on, if it's supper hot then ac will come on, if it's so so then nothing will come on

Curious if these are settings which can be changed in Forscan. I'm not going to start looking for it as this point but someone might have already done the hard part in the F150 thread.

I think you can set that up in your settings. The options are "automatic" and "last setting", or something along those lines.

Is that northern super cold or southern? I have relatives come to town from up north and they are wearing T shirts down here at Christmas time.

Seriously though, I had my seat cooler come on the other day when it was in the 50s when I used the remote start.

Seastacker is correct. In the settings accessed from the instrument cluster menus, you can set the climate control to "off" with remote start, "automatic" (based upon outside temp) or "last settings" which will allow the heated seat to turn back on if that's what was left on (along with cabin temp settings).

My gosh, I don't think I could take a ride with you...58F is like a super nice, t-shirt day for sure.
