Hi all,
I was on the highway getting out from work, and low and behold, there is a gray 2004 F-150 that I'm passing by. It does look great !!! The back looked really different (with the Ford symbol being in the center of the tailgate) but the front looked almost the same. (again, I took a QUICK look at the front. Cool lookin truck though.

 

Saw a few for my first time as well. I don't like the long box loo too well but the FX4 Super Cap I saw was awesome. I figure since they have finally made it here to Nebraska that they are probably about everywhere by now. The only disapointment to me is ground clearance. They seem to sit low and will probably affect their offroad capabilities.

 

I didn't seen any 2004's on the local lots here in CT, but they must be on the lots elcewhere in CT, for me having seen one. I forgot if it was a super crew, or an extended cab. I think it was an extended. The 04's should be another great seller for Ford.

 

When I got my tranny flushed last week the dealer had a white XLT, 5.4 2 wheel drive. I was surprised I didn't go ooh and wow. It looked kinda chessy. The fuel door was plastic and although it was an xlt it looked like a work truck. I hope the FXs look better. I guess everyone that sees one thinks so.

I just got back from my dealer in Mystic, CT and they had in serveral F-150's. I looked at a super cab red short bed FX4 model. It was OK, not something I'd buy though.

 

Saw my first 04 today, 8/29/03. Been checking the lots, but this one was passing by me on the highway. Was so stunned that I didn't get a good look. Thought it was one, and was confirmed by the blue oval in the center of the tailgate via my rearview mirror. Looked nice, black with gray trim. Man, I wanted to turn around and follow.
