Hi miles

I have a 15 F350 with 389800 miles oil change every 10K DPF delete at 300,000 replace the brakes twice. Had to replace a turbo intercooler line best part is I worked at Texas oil fields I pulled a 40-foot gooseneck all the time and truck still runs like it was brand new. This is my fourth Ford Super Duty add a 99 with a 7.3 a 2002 with a 7.3 and a 2009 with a 6.4 all had tuners this one is bone stock and will out pull even the 7.3 it's amazing. Plan on driving this truck till the wheels fall off hoping to get at least half a million miles out of

Very nice. Was the 300k the original DPF? Still have the original EGR cooler?

Original DPF

Yes it was the original DPF everything is original on this truck even the fan belt the only thing I've changed is an intercooler connection and the batteries. As far as EGR code I don't know they flash to computer and install a 4 inch straight pipe exhaust

Man! Good stuff. Keep us posted please. Thanks for posting up!

About the tune, did you go with a 0 hp tune or a low hp tow tune?

‘14 w/315k on the clock

Inches from buying a commercial rig ‘14 with 315kmi for $16k from a ****ty shotty used dealer in portland, OR.
needs:
new track bar, rear diff fluid change, radio, vac pump seal, park brake needs adjusted, there’s oil in the valley and it popped a p0401 upon returning from pre-purchase inspection from a local powerstroke specialist.
I can do the above for cost of parts, call it $3500 (including turbo), maybe 5500 if i delete egr and get a tune, but I’m wondering if i ought to swap the HPFP with a new one while i’ve got the sleeves up, or if you high mileage boys just straight up don’t worry bout it? Heard of the disaster proofing kits, but just tryin to get it on the road and not be under the hood each week.

other stuff:
few service records (9 total) but shes been well maintained, 7500 running hours and 1500 idle hours makes it an average 35mph, rest of suspension looks good, brakes at about 60%, have yet to hook up a trailer to go off road. Minimal rust, i’m 50/50 on the deal, i mean i’d sure love to get rid of this **** minivan i been drivin, but don’t want to be broke and out a vehicle either. Hard to look past the price though, ****!!

Hey man, have you replaced any fuel system components (other than filters)? Curious ifyou’re still runnin your original pumps and injectors or if you’d had any trouble with them. Thanks

That's a great question for sure. Hopefully he comes back to comment on this old thread. Welcome to FTE.
