FORScan and As-Built Data

Yeah sombody had it working with the led display about post 808 ish. I seen it in a 2012 on power stroke nation at 80% with the fancy lcd display. I’m getting a lot of conflicting data is all. Guess I’ll find out eventually since my dpf is only loaded 40%. But, just curious what to expect. The picture is the 12 I mentioned from powerstroke nation. I know some 13-16 had it but with the led display wich I would assume the module in the icp is totally different for but don’t know that for a fact. But haven’t found any 13-16 with the lcd display working or anyone who reported back later after enabling it on Forscan. My truck is a 15 lariat.

Hi, great thread although it took me a week to read it all haha.
I have enabled the dpf% reset my TPMS to 50 PSI front and back and something else that i cant remember at the moment. it was all the pre-done stuff in FOREScan. when I went to look up the coding to make it so the wife could enter addresses and stuff into the GPS i hit a problem.
factory nav over ride is disabled and shows
7D0-02-01 *5** **** ****
enabled is
7D0-02-01 *7** **** ****
but the settings in my truck (2014 F350 platinum) are
7D0-02-01 *3** **** ****
am I just supposed to change that 3 to a 7? and does the 3 instead of a 5 signify anything different?
oh and are you still wanting as built and window stickers? I have the window sticker for mine still.
thanks
Steve

My 2015 Lariat with NAV is factory set to...
7D0-02-01 *5** **** ****
The 5 gives you the SiriusXM Travel Link with NAV but you can not manually input destinations while traveling. Must use voice inputs.
The 7 allows you to manually input destinations while driving but turns off SiriusXM Travel Link.
Do you have travel link enable and viewable with the 3? Can you manually input data while moving via the Destination with the 3?
Personally, I have come to use the voice commands when required white in motion.

I didn't change it yet, but with the three I have the Sirius travel link (which I cancelled as it is pretty much useless in Canada, but direct entry is locked out while in motion.
could it be possible that cancelling a subscription could change some of these codes? so my 3 might be the same as 5 minus travel link because it was unsubscribed to?
I guess Ill change my 3 to a 7 and see what happens.

I think the 3 has to do with your truck being sold in Canada. There are some minor differences as to what is available or not between the USA and Canadian trucks. I believe one is the VHR not being available in Canada.
Try the 7 and see what happens.
BTW, I have had good luck with the voice. One learns quickly to not give the complete address as they say you can but digress to the state/province and then level up to you give the house/business number.

Ford computes when to do a regen. 500 miles since the end of the last completed regen is the max distance before a regen starts. An active regen can start at anytime regardless of the distance or DPF load (grams/liter). On my CTS2, approx 3.40-3.50 grams/liter will start an active regen.
I have been towing my 5th wheel when a regen started at 40%. You can have passive regens where the exhaust temps are high enough (over 700*) that clean the DPF to a degree. Passive regen is mentioned in your owner's manual.

It appears that the 2011 and 2012's are the only ones that can add the manual regen function. There has been an odd exception where someone with a 2015 Lariat can do a manual regen.

I was thinking there must be some other qualifier as I have gone over 1000m between regens once and a while, so either there was something else going on or I missed it, but for the most part ya I get one every 500m. to bad they wouldn't put it on a % full, or a setting for a higher mileage between regens.
thanks

For most driving, regeneration frequency will vary from 100 - 500 miles (161 - 805 km) between occurrences and each occurrence will last from 9 - 20 minutes.
