FORScan and As-Built Data

Good evening Gentleman,
I have been following this thread closely and read every post up to page 25...
I've tried the Bambi Mode and the Fogs on with highbeams and I can confirm neither worked on my 2012. The bambi mode only made my DTE read 999.
So my question is, Has anyone made successful mods to the 2012?
I love this ForScan software and I am trying to enable some useful features on mine but so far the only thing I've been able to do was change my tire size, which somewhat corrected my speedo...
2012 F250 Lariat Ultimate crew, 176" WB, Powerstroke.
Thanks
(BTW: ignore my username, Its my old truck and I cant figure out how to change it.)

So you tried:
BCM 726-11-01 0002 0000 40
and that did not allow you to run fog lamps with high beams?

What is your build date?
I know that DPF wasn't available on trucks with standard instrument cluster build before 11/5/10 without a PCM reprogram:
Maybe if yours is early it needs a PCM update to work?
"
THIS FEATURE WAS NOT AVAILABLE OR OFFERED ON VEHICLES BUILT BEFORE 11/5/2010 WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS ORIGINALLY ORDERED OR MANUFACTURED

Keith, I just validated what you are saying. I originally set mine to "E". It flashed the 7 times and when turned on all the way, only one flash.
I changed the "E" to "F" and it worked correctly. 7 flashes and continuous flashing when fully signal turned on. I also verified 9, B and D. They all gave the correct number of flashes and then turned off and they continued flashed when turned on fully.
The chart/spreadsheet needs to be updated for out trucks to the following:
Electronic Turn Signal Cancel Cfg: SCCM 724-01-01 xxxx x*xx xx
0,1,2,3 = 1 flash - did not test nor verify
5 = 2 flashes - did not not test nor verify
7 = 3 flashes - This my truck's As-Built setting
9 = 4 flashes - Verified
B = 5 flashes - Verified
D = 6 flashes - Verified
F = 7 flashes - Verified
Hope this helps others...

I was looking at the sheet and the info on the sheet doesn't match this. it says the factory setting of 7 flashes until canceled. Is that correct or I am looking at it wrong?

I think you are looking at it wrong. If you initiate the turn signal for a turn, it continues to blink til you turn and cancels or you cancel it. The lane change is normally 3 blinks w/o trailer and 5 blinks with trailer. The above settings increase the lane change blinks only depending on what you decide to program it in the BCM.

Thanks. And thanks for all the work everyone on here has put into this. I just discovered the forscan software and this forum. I did a lot of reading on here before I made any changes to my truck. If I can help any testing in the future I would be happy to. My truck is an early 2011 build and I suspect their are some differences in mine and the later 2011 and up trucks. Probably to my disadvantage, like not getting the Bambi mode to work.
