I think this forum is for questions only. Either nobody knows or they don't respond.

I've tried the Bambi Mode and the Fogs on with highbeams and I can confirm neither worked on my 2012. The bambi mode only made my DTE read 999.

So my question is, Has anyone made successful mods to the 2012?

I love this ForScan software and I am trying to enable some useful features on mine but so far the only thing I've been able to do was change my tire size, which somewhat corrected my speedo...

2012 F250 Lariat Ultimate crew, 176" WB, Powerstroke.

Thanks

(BTW: ignore my username, Its my old truck and I cant figure out how to change it.)
I see no reason the mods should not work on the 2011 and 2012....Are you sure you are making the mods in the correct places?....maybe someone will respond who owns of the those year models....

Perhaps you should post your question in its own thread.

I had to get access to a 2016 spread sheet with the mods for my 2016 before I could get the changes I made to work correctly and make sure you are in the correct tab to make the change. I had problems there also

I want to thank everyone that has contributed to adding these nice little mods with forscan. Your time and effort is much appreciated!

I have one question for you veteran users....I have 20" wheels on my truck and my speedometer is 3mph fast according to GPS. I've also clocked it compared to another vehicle and I am confidant that my speedometer is not accurate. Has anyone else noticed this and can it be corrected using forscan? I have checked and 20" wheels is the default setting in my as built data.

What we need to know is tire size, not wheel size. What are you rolling on and what is the factory size (found on the door jamb sticker)?

I am pretty sure though I may be wrong but I think that almost all if not all 6.7 superduties speedometer read 2.5 mph fast. This is through all speeds so changing tire size in forscan will only work at one specific speed since speedometer inaccuracies due to different tire sizes is progressive and bases off a percentage and not a fixed value throughout the speed range.

Bambi and %DPF work just fine in my 2012 Lariat. Used the spreadsheet and changed the as built values.

Ok then you're experiencing the wonders of ford. They decided to make the speedo incorrect. In the U.K. it is apparently 5 mph (or kph, whatever) faster. Mine is the same as yours. I set it at 68 to go 65. The computer is seeing actual speed and marking the correct mileage. If you have the torque app you can monitor VSS for the correct speed.

That was my main concern, wondering if the truck was recording more miles than actual. I suppose I can live with the speedo being off though it is a nuisance for a luxury truck.

Yeah it's kind of annoying.
