The paint code for my truck is for Oxford White so I stuck with the original color.

That is looking great. Maybe next year you all can bring it down the RRE. I'd like to see it in person all finished up. You guys aren't too far from me. We go to the blueberry fest sometimes.

We are planning to take the truck on several road trips next summer and southern Indiana might be added to that list.

We are about 25 minutes west of the Blueberry Festival but we avoid that at all costs. Well we do attend the Hoosier Old Wheels swap meet during the festival but we get there about 6am, look around and get back on the road headed home before the horrible crowd sets in. lol

I'm north of Fort Wayne. Its been about 3 years since my wife insisted that I go to that. I have no interest in anything there except the food, lol.

oh for some reason I thought you were in southern Indiana. you guys ever go to wolf lake swap meet? I think that's alittle north west of you. I usually make it there once a summer.

Any good junk/salvage yards in your area? We are planning on trying a new one in Westville tomorrow. Can never have to many extra parts! lol

Went to the salvage yard Saturday and found a steering column for my truck. Mine wasn't fixable.

Started the body work on the bed. Welded all the holes shut that someone drilled on the bed rails then started fixing dings

Progress looking good.

I don't know of a single good junk yard around here. So I guess you need to point them out to me!

I've been to the wolf lake swap meet before, but it was about 5 yrs ago. I always talk about going, but I guess it hasn't been much of a priority for me lately. My brother always wants to go.

Making more progress on the truck bed. And got the rest of the steering wheel/column/dash all put back together and tight. Got the whole interior blown out, wiped down and vacuumed yesterday. Planning to shampoo it out this week while my husband works on the bed. He got one coat of primer on the bed over the wknd and some sanding done. He plans to finish sanding it tonight so he can get another coat of primer on it tomorrow.

This pic is deceiving because it looks like there are imperfections but there are none.

Last coat of primer on the bed last night. My husband is home right now sanding it down to get ready for paint!!!!!

So guys.....my husband and I have a goal set for ourselves!!! By this Sunday evening my truck will be all painted, put back together and driveable. However I wont be driving it just yet. Then next Mon, Tue, Wed we will be putting on my new Redhead gear box, my Skyjacker steering stabilizer, my Tuff Country add a leafs and my under rail Duraliner. Thursday night my truck will go to the window tint shop for a Friday appt. Then next Saturday I am taking my parents and my husband for a country cruise to a local old style drive-up root beer stand! Then I am going to drive it back and forth to work the following week to be sure all any mechanical bugs are gone because I am off work for vacation from July 29 to August 7 so lots of road trips planned for me!! I cant believe my truck is this close to being finished (for now).....when I am on vacation I am taking it to the audio shop for a new stereo, speakers and to add a amp. Good quality tunes for my country cruises is imperative! Oh and I bought a really nice plate for the front of my truck. Should really be a nice addition to it. Cant wait to post all kinds of pics when its done
