aftermarket upgrade ?s

I have been looking at a couple of after market mods and wondering if any one here has them and what they think or what other options are out there playing with the idea of putting in projector head lights and a custom dash kit from classic dash

Projector? Nah.

LED headlights are the way to go now.

Dan / HIO (or anyone else)... who's LED headlights did you go with? I see SuperBrightLEDs.com sells a set with the electronics to prevent flicker built into the dish - but they are $170 apiece (cough cough)...

I'm not sure who you should go with, but I've had about half of the stuff I've bought from superbright go bad quickly or not work out of the box. I stopped getting stuff from them.

I'm running H3 bulbs in Autoloc housings with the amber section. I use the amber lights for DRLs.

But JW Speaker seems to be the tops...

If you're coughing at $170 apiece, then get ready to cough up one or both lungs. They do offer some at lower price points but sometimes ya get what ya pay for....

I put some LED headlights in mine and love them. They plug in, no mods and work perfectly. I ordered them online from oracle.com I believe. They were listed for being for a 79 Bronco, and as I have a 79 F250 they fit in perfectly. As far as the dash goes, I also swapped that out since I wanted a tach and a new dash with odometer set at zero with my new engine rebuild so I went with the Dakota digital dash. love it also as you can easily recalibrate the speedometer if you change tire size.

Yup, $500 for a couple of headlights is a BIT ridiculous to me - but to each his own... I hope someone throws something else better out there, or it's going to be a set of $80 halogens from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard.

General electric "GE" makes some really nice leds that look close to stock while lights are off. Really good nice units

I did the Halogen conversion (LMC) along with relays to supply power. It was a huge improvement. I like my dent lights better than DD's... including one with projector lights.
