Optional steering wheel for 75 highboy

Quick question for the stock gurus.
Was their an available factory optional sport steering wheel for the 75 Highboy?
If so can anyone direct me to a picture.
Appreciate the help.
Regards

I don't have one to measure and the parts catalog doesn't give the diameter. My guess would be probably the same, or close to, the regular power steering steering wheel, 15".
Manual steering steering wheels were 16" in diameter.

EDIT: Thanks HIO.

Initial searches show there are two types, one with a turn signal horn switch and one with a center horn button, Ebay currently has one of the turn signal stalk horn types available; can it be converted to center horn or need to find the correct center horn type?
Thanks

The sport wheel pictured in the second post is not an exact bolt in for the 1975 F series & was not available as a factory option. It did not become an option for the F series until 1978, when the steering column was changed to a different style.

The 73-77 steering column is a smaller diameter where the wheel meets the column, so a sport wheel looks a little odd where they meet when installed on the older column. Also, I seem to recall that the turn signal cancel feature is actuated off the steering wheel & you loose that feature when you go to the sport wheel, when installed in 77 & older trucks. There may be differences in the splines on the sport wheel when compared to your 1975 column. I've seen a couple of sport wheels that have a flat spot in the splines, the column does not have this. A few minutes with a file removes the flat spot so it will fit.

You would need a wheel with the horn in the center cap. There is no easy way to turn a no horn in center wheel into one with the horn in the center. I've been tempted to gut a standard horn center wheel to see if I could put the needed parts into a non horn sport wheel but haven't tried.

D7OZ-3600-A .. 3 Spoke Sport Steering Wheel with simulated leather covered rim.

D7OZ-3600-B .. 3 Spoke Sport Steering Wheel with foam covered rim.

1977/79 Passenger Cars (except 1978/79 Fairmont/Zephyr & 1979 Mustang/Capri); 1978/79 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline.

Fairmont/Zephyr & 1979 Mustang/Capri use a different sport steering wheel.

The pictured wheel can be found in Mustang IIs, which I'm pretty sure all use the wheel-mounted horn switch.
A very similar wheel was available in the early Fox Body Stangs and Capris, but those cars used the stalk-mounted horn switch.
My old Speed Control-equipped '82 GT used a splined shaft and wheel, but if I remember correctly, my '84 Capri RS had the "D" shaped shaft and wheel- don't remember if it was tilt or not, but it didn't have the Speed Control.
My '77 F150 definitely has the turn signal cancel tab on the wheel itself.

What about the sport wheel for larger trucks? I've seen a pic of one in Bill Elliot's old C-series cabover transporter truck.

I've seen that wheel on a L series truck too (Just what all the truckers wanted, a LTS9000 with a sport option) Your right about the shaft going to D shape on the cars. The sport wheels are good looking but you can't use with factory cruise, I had one in my 78 F150 but after a 2500 mile round trip that thin metal spoke kind of starts to cut off circulation in your finger and thumb. I replaced it with the boring to look at but comfortable 2 spoke and factory cruise added. I was a lot happier.

The pictured steering wheel is not the 3 spoke Sport steering wheel. The dash is not a Mustang II, it appears to be a '79 Mustang. Mustang II's were 1974/78.

A very similar wheel was available in the early Fox Body Stangs and Capris, but those cars used the stalk-mounted horn switch.
The first FoMoCo vehicles to have a horn operated by the T/S handle were 1978 fox body Fairmont/Zephyr. 1979 Mustang/Capri were the first to have the fox body.

1977/78 Mustang II's used the same D7OZ-3600-A & B 3 spoke Sport steering wheels as 1977/78 F100/350's, Bronco's and Econolines (see post #11).

1978/79 Fairmont/Zephyr & 1979 Mustang/Capri used different 3 spoke steering wheels: D8BZ-3600-K Chrome Spokes & D8BZ-3600-L Black Spokes.
