My ignition key wont work for my door, did the 97 ford year have seperate keys? my last truck was a 94 chev and it had two, this is my first ford i just got it a few weeks ago. so pardon my lack of info.
i have a 97 ford f-250 HD XLT Reg Cab long box 7.3 PS.

Nope. Only one key

 

maybe some one changed the ignition out before, mine has two keys and I keep using the wrong one

 

ebay has a ignition and door locks for 70 bucks, I might go that route with black ones.

 

1 easy way to help this is have 1 key made with door key on 1 side and ign key on other of the same key and grind a notch on the flat part of key so you know which way it goes
