Question Stiction fix, not cure

Okay Guys, I need your experience, knowledge & opinion(s) regarding a stiction fix, not a cure. I know the only cure is to replace the affected injector(s), but I'm trying to buy a little more time.

The truck is an 04 ext. cab dually with 150K miles. I bought the truck in 13' and have used HSS Stiction Eliminator in 3 of the 5 oil changes. I use 5w-40 synthetic or 10-40 synthetic blend. I am sending the FICM to Ed for repair and the Atlas 40 tune.

Based on your experience, research & opinion(s), which of the following will provide the most significant results for the oil side of the injector(s)?
1. HSS Stiction Eliminator
2. Archoil 9100 friction modifier
3. Rev-X HP oil additive or;
4. other options

For the fuel side of the injector(s) which of the following will provide the most significant results?
1. 1 oz. per gal. of TWC 2 cycle motor oil
2. HSS Diesel Extreme
3. Archoil 6200 fuel modification
4. Rev-X Distance + Winter additive or:
5. other options

Thanks for your responses.

I've been using both Archoil products for the past year (about 15000 total miles). I don't have any stiction problems and will keep using them for the forseeable future.

Archoil 9100, noticed the effects within 100 miles or less. Will keep using the product.

I have used both HSS and Archoil 9100. Th HSS seemed to work at first, <1K miles then stiction returned, at the next oil change I went with the 9100 and almost immediately the stiction was gone, very, very little sign of it at all. After I replaced the injectors, for another problem, with OEM reman's I have kept on using 9100 every other oil change and I am very happy happy with it. The injectors were never this quiet even when new. I have started this at -20 dergrees F with out plugging in and they where still very quiet. I use Stanadyne Performance formula in the fuel and have had no issues with gelling or anything else and after 10K miles got about a 1/2 MPG average improvement over Power Service that I had used in the past.

I have been having a great experience with the AR9100. Pricey, but worth it.

There was also a good discussion going on here too:

Thanks - P

Thanks MooSSe. I assume the 9100 at every oil change? What intervals are you using the 6200?

Thanks jetjockey99. I'll change to the 9100. What dosage and intervals on the Stanadyne?

Thanks silverbullet6oh. The 9100WOW discussion prompted my inquiry and additionally influenced my decision to use the 9100, next change. Are you doing anything for the fuel side of the injector(s)?

No, I am not. This Archoil is doing the trick for me now. I put quite a few miles on the truck, IMO, and try to keep the cost down on what I put in the truck as I do frequent oil changes.

With the synthetic oil I use and now using the AR9100 16 oz bottles, makes the oil changes price go up quite a bit.

I use to use Diesel Kleen on every fill up, but I stopped doing that. I don't know if that stuff does anything for the injectors, but it helps the diesel burn more effective and keeping your EGR cleaner, if your not buying good fuel.
