Got the bed off, now what

I have had some small nagging things that have added up to where I have decided to work on the old girl. I think the rear shower head has broke off in the tank as it runs out at 1/4 tank now. Going to replace that. Any brilliant solutions to that other than just buying a new one? And the front tank started leaking about two weeks ago, which drove me to work on it. I have pulled the bed only to find that it appears to be the tank is leaking where it is under the cab. I am going to drop it tomorrow and see if I can pinpoint the leak. Then determine if I can repair it or have to replace it.
Any suggestions on things to do while the bed is off? I will probably pressure wash it and give the frame a coat of paint. Anything else?

Thanks!

Brake lines, spring hangers, there's not a whole lot under the bed.

If you haven't done the tank vent mods that would be a good thing to do.

I wish I had remembered the needle scaler. I just used a good wire brush and steam cleaner. It turned out really well so far. I got primer on it today, so paint tomorrow.
It is a southern truck so the cross members are in good shape.

Are there any alternatives for the shower head. They all seem to break after awhile. I was considering fabbing one up but mine are toast so I don't have one to go by. Does anyone have the basic dimensions of the thing? All it has to do is suck up fuel right?

Heck, my original shower head lasted 18 years... Imo, it's worth the $15 or whatever to get another 18 years out of the part

Well I couldn't anything I really liked so I just ordered the stock strainers. So I guess the hutch mod out since we don't have mixing chambers, so there is nothing to delete. I am going to work on the vents. I am also going to repair the rear bumper while I am at it. And a pic of progress just for the fun of it:

Looking good. I think the vent fix is a good improvement. I have hard time filling mine unless it's tipped a little to the other side.

The vent mod is a MUST if you pull a long trailer and need to fill up at a truck stop. The stock setup is a royal pita with the truck nozzle!! Unless of course you like splash backs and a wife that tells you to change cloths before getting back in the truck. Ask me how I know this, I have experience!!
