Who knows where to buy?

Once again I turn to you guys for a bit of help. I have looked around every where and can't find replacement transmission cooler lines for our trucks. I have tried LMC, Bronco Graveyard, local parts stores, local salvage yard, even brokedown and called the local stealership. If memory serves I believe I saw a set for the 4WD on Bronco Graveyard, but alas I have a 2WD. I am hesitant to "patch" with fuel hose, I have never had any luck with that, always ends up failing and puking fluid. I am really not wanting to try bending line, I did that for my MF Tractor on the fuel lines and that was a pain in the ****. So who on here has my save the day solution. If you know a place please throw up a link. Or any other help would great.

Thanks in advance.

I know it's not the answer you're looking for but here's how I do it.

I go to advance auto and buy the 3/8" brake line. I buy about 24" of it. I bend it down and around the exhaust and then point it forward. I flare on a 3/8" flare by 3/8" barb adapter. I then run the rest of the lines forward with 3/8" push-lok up to the transmission cooler.

The 24" of hard line I end up cutting roughly in half so it's enough for both hard lines coming out of the transmission.

2wd or 4wd shouldn't matter. Should be the same lines.

THAT probably works fine, but with my luck I would end up with more leaks than Swiss cheese has holes..I have very little luck with things like this.

One thing to keep in mind...my transmission builder suggested replacing everything cooler and radiator (lines included) before I reinstalled my transmission.

You don't know what kind of contamination is in there...

You can never get it completely clean if there is contamination...

My guy wouldn't warrantee mine if I didn't replace everything.

Probably not the perfect fix but I couldn't stand losing transmission fluid anymore, so I found the exact spot of the leak, cut the line, cleaned the burs and put a compression union on there. May not last forever but the leak is gone. Gonna do a fluid change and filter over the holidays I hope. Thanks for all the responses
