91 E250 - Old but not that Old

My old van is running great but I'm looking into the future.
The motor will need replacing and it would be nice if the 210hp could be boosted.
I pull a camper and need alittle more pull.
I've looked around the net for replacement engines and I've had no luck.
If I find one, For some reason it says it won't fit in my van.
What's up with that?

Does anyone have a idea of where to find crate engines and other items for this van?
Thanks

What's your budget?
Crate engines probably about $1500-$2000 or more.
plus your labor plus your future failures of a 25year old vehicle.

Go get you a used van for $3-4000 with a 5.4 V8.

If your van has the 5.8L, then any 351W will fit. You'll just have to mount your accessories ( manifolds, mounts, oil pan, alt., PS pump, etc. ) onto it. The 351W long blocks are pretty much all the same except for the camshaft types ( flat tappet or roller ) .

That's what I thought.
I know the intake can't get to tall because of the clearance in the van.

The stock truck/van EFI intake is pretty tall. Are you sticking with EFI or going to a carb set up?
