You don't 'need' an adjustable trac bar for a 2" lift, but you will for 3.5". The math an my experience are in the threads above.

I see Carli doesn't sell the 2" springs the offer in their kits. I suspect they are the Bilstein springs but just a guess. From the pic they look to be linear not progressive (multi rate) like Carli's 4.5" springs.

That said the Bilstein kit itself is only $400 but doesn't address the caster issue.

PMF sells Icon Progressive springs ($400) and can add them to any kit.
Icon Dual Rate Lift Coils

Looking back a spacers (instead of front springs) would have been an acceptable solution. I went with Icon progressive springs and they require a different (more damping for soft initial rate) shock than the linear springs. They did not work well with Bilstein 5100s.
PMF lower spacers are the nicest I found, and what I run in conjunction with the Icon 2.5" springs.

I see PMF uses spacers though for the front instead of springs. At least from what I have found online. I kind of like the spring replacement idea better (due to having put spacers on 1/2 tons in the past) but not sure if it is absolutely necessary. Do you know why PMF doesn't offer springs? Maybe to keep cost down on the kit some?

PMF - 2" kit (spacers), front shocks included...$389.99
ADD rear shocks...$150 (Amazon)
ADD adj. trac bar...$340
PMF Total $879.99

Carli - 2.5" kit (spring), front shocks included, adj. trac bar included...$910
ADD rear shocks...$150 (Amazon)
Carli Total $1060

So is the springs worth $180 in difference of kits?

(Prices from website)

I haven't reached out to him yet, but I intend to.
He has leveling kits that use springs to achieve the lift if that is what you desire. Im just too cheap to use that method. My next one will be done right though.

Alright, well, while I'm on this level topic...

I already know that 35" will fit on the truck once leveled. May or may not have a little rub at full turn. Can I run a 20x10 wheel with a 35x12.5 tire with no rubbing concern and if so, at what BS do I need?

I had 20x10 with -12mm BS on my 6.0. Of course I had 6" of lift and they were wrapped in 37x12.5, but loved the distance they stuck out. Not too much...just right.

So can I run the same wheel 20x10 -12mm BS wrapped in 35x12.5 on a leveled truck with no rub issue or do I need to go bigger BS? -24mm? Or, will I need to go higher on the truck?

Thanks.
