New Bronk / Member

I hope 6 posts is not too late to say:

W E L C O M E !!!

Hope U enjoy yer stay. Lotta good, offering & knowledgeable folks here. Don't be concerned abt yer English (as U can C mine's pretty bad) I hate to say/C what my German would B like!!!

The vehicle looks highly modified except for drivetrain & suspension (I luv the '66 - '69 grill like urs). I'm thinking it must B pretty tough with the power and oversight the government has in the motor vehicle world there - to customize much. Even harder, to import. Bet U have a story in both regards.

Here we have a used parts/new parts/restorer (Jeff's Bronco Graveyrd) that sponsored a web site in the '90s that is interactive.

classicbroncos.com

Over the yrs it's gathered folk from around the world (mostly USAers) and serves as an excellent source for all things EB (early bronk - 1966 - '77). If we can't help U thay sure can.

Great 2 C an alaskan & german - opposite sides of the world - on here!

Willkommen bei FTE and welcome to being a EB (Early Bronco) owner. Sie haben einen schönen Bronco. Very nice ride for sure!

Here is a very large and also helpful EB forum. ClassicBroncos.com Forums - 66-77 Early Ford Bronco Discussion Forums

Thanks for the cordial reception of you.

I have a problem with the front axle Dana 44, the axle is leaking on the driver's side!
Is there a mounting instruction for this and which seal do I need for it?

Greeting Mike

1st ID what U have - sure it's a D44? Look 4 id numbers. These axels) can come frm all sortsa vehicles - swapped in.
ID location of leak (sometimes not frm where it looks like on a newspaper left underneath - trace to actual spot).
Go 2 fordification or 1 of the bronk specific sites (CB?) and ID frm "exploded diagram" the Ford part number for that seal.
Numbers Dummy, a member here has helped many of us w/expl. diag. and prt numbers but the axel has 2B confirmed by the owner 1st! (sure it's a XX yr from bronk, etc) In rare instances he can help locate dealers for prts (State-side only).

I can not tell by just looking Dana 30 or 44, time to run some BOM #'s to figure it out. None the less here is a utube way to change those seals. NOT quick or easy.

Ball joints ='s Dana 30/44, King pins ='s Dana 60. That front axle looks clean enough to be able to get some #'s of it.
