Like the title says, How much will it cost to bush the small ends of the connecting rods. OR how much would it cost to bore out the wrist pin hole to accept the 400 wrist pin ont he 351C pistons. looking for a ball park estimate. trying to see if one of these ways would be cheaper than buying TMI pistons at 425

 

In Canada... $160 for machining + the bushings (292 ford) +tax. I think I sent you a PM. Will TMI do it for you?

 

Is there even room to bore out the rod ends without getting into the ring grooves? Seems like a lot of effort to save $50. Not to mention maybe effecting reliability. You spending a lot of money to rebuild an engine, why cheap out on pistons?
