I just remove the battery, store it inside, and give it a charge before reinstalling. My storage doesn't have power, I would likely do the same if it did.

Six volt automatic Battery Tender. I use them (12v) on my lawn tractor, stand-by generator, F-6 mixer, and DR Power Wagon.

Same here, 6V Battery Tender.
Did remove battery and brought it home from storage facility as they unplugged charger last year and cost me a new battery,

I've got a couple tenders I've bought from HF and Amazon. I recommend disconnecting the battery from the vehicle first, before connecting long term.

I've got a bunch of 12V battery tenders, so I parked a pair of my 6V tractors side by side, connected their batteries in series with jumper cables, and installed a 12V tender across the pair. I'll let you know in the spring how that worked out, although it should be just fine.
