E4OD woes

They're sequential & constant mesh but most people will change their oil when they notice the shifting gets notchy. Most don't use ATF. Just wondering if you know what happens when that notchiness happens. Wondering if that's whats felt when people think they are fixing their autos with fresh fluid.

It's not what is happening in an auto. In an auto clutches and/or bands, all of which run in ATF, are applied and released. Nothing like this happens in a motorcycle transmission. It's like comparing apples and wrenches.
