Many folks complain about how old the LMC rubber gaskets are, or how they don't last very long. I bought my windshield gasket from DC.

Is English your second language or do you not know how to use punctuation very well?

English is my only language. Typing not so much. Thank you for the replies. Are you the English/punctuation police or just a jerk? Its people like you, that give good sites like this one, a black eye.

Turbo isn't either one really. Please understand, we older folks are a bit old fashioned compared to the current generation. I think it's great that your generation has phones that you can talk in to and it types it. But it's hard on the eyes. Your generation may not understand that it's kind of, almost, disrespectful.

Windshield Weatherstrip (seal).

Yes!
Carpenter's are made in the USA, LMC's are made in China. Buy the best and cry only once.

And...there are TWO different windshield weatherstrips (seals) for 1967/72 F100/750's:

C7TZ-8103110-A .. Windshield Weatherstrip-Use without stainless steel windshield reveal mouldings / Reproduced

C7TZ-8103110-B .. Windshield Weatherstrip-Use with stainless steel windshield reveal mouldings / Reproduced

Carpenter has both these Ford part numbers listed in his 1967/79 truck repro parts catalog.

once again, thank you. And thanks for putting me in "the younger generation". Because I'll be 51 in less than a month. Im sorry if I came off as the *** hat. But I come to this site for information. Most of the time I only ask questions because I don't want to waste my time making costly mistakes, when others have already experimented and found good information/products. You will find that I don't post a lot, or much at all for that matter. If somebody asks a question, and one or two others answer, I don't comment. Asked and answered. You don't need my two cents when you've got the answer. Ive bought and sold over 200 cars and trucks since I was 13. Ive painted more than that. So its not my first rodeo. Thanks again for the replies, I appreciate it.

We appreciate the courtesy of parsed sentences. This isn't like texting a friend which some apparently believe is OK.

There have been some who posted long winded paragraphs in all lower case letters with absolutely no punctuation, text acronyms, and other gooblygook. It's a pain to have read, re-read, and then read it for a third time to figure out where thoughts start and end.

So thanks in advance!

... and go with DC's seal for longevity. LMC's rubber formulation doesn't hold up well to UV light and heat... and a windshield seal is one of those things ya probably don't wanna have to re-do in like a year.
