Help

I'm new here and I'm having a issue with my 7.3. I had to replace the o rings in the filter bowl and now my truck won't start. It will hit on starting fluid but it will not catch and run on Its own. Any suggestions.

First HUGE suggestion...DO NOT use starting fluid I less you want to blow up the intake and do other damage.

Do you have Pressure at the fuel bowl when cranking over?

Check the fuel bowl heater fuse. I think it is #22.

Ether and glow plugs are a no no. Like said, you an check the fuel pressure while cranking at the schraeder valve on the side of the fuel bowl. Do you have wait to start light?

Make sure you got the wiring harness plugged back in on the passenger side of the fuel bowl, and make sure the IPR is plugged connector is plugged in.

The fact that there wasn't an explosion with the starting fluid suggests the GPs aren't working. This could be a stand-alone issue or part of a larger one. Preliminary questions -
- Does the WTS light come on?
- Does the tach move while cranking?
- Any smoke from the tailpipe while cranking?

Sounds like you have trapped air it will take lots of cranking time. And like Byron said don't use ETHER!! With your glow plug relay connected.
