High end truck now without cruise
I was just eating lunch with truck running, and all the sudden "pre-collision not available" didn't bump it or anything, just sitting parked! Turned truck off, went back to work, now on the way home from work, 1 hour drive, get same warning, then I go to turn on cruise, get another warning, adaptive cruise not available! Tried turning it to normal cruise and get same warning, even tried turning truck off and still no way to use cruise! Pissed!

Lets hope not on the speeding ticket! Keep us updated on what it is! Pick my truck up in the morning and curious as to what issues I have of the many people have listed. A real downer to see any problems with a new truck but what can you do I guess besides take it back in. Let us know & thanks for posting!

How many sensors are on a dressed 2017? Is it over 100 now? The majority of problems with vehicles the past few years often times start with a failed sensor. Maybe it is time the QC or original design be upgraded at the OEM. Or is it cheaper to just do the warranty repairs. Maybe there is too much asked of them? My '01 is on its third camshaft position sensor and the spare is in the glovebox. More technology, more sensors. Actually sensors are replacing humans. Maybe they are not failing at that high a rate after all.

The funny part is that I'd doesn't say anything about a failed sensor or error, just not available this truck is going to be expensive after the warranty runs out,

Technology is great when it works. Unfortunately Ford along with the rest of the manufacturers are having issues with their new Tech. I think I heard that JD Powers or similar have done new vehicle owner satisfaction surveys and the biggest complaint is with all the new technology. Whether it's engines, transmissions or vehicle electronics, the new stuff takes a few vehicle cycles to get most of the bugs out. Good luck with your issue.
Likewise I agree with one of the above posters, once the vehicles make it out of warranty, their going to be expensive to maintain.
