Yep, wishful thinking...but one can hope...right?
For this reason I did not order the trailer TPMS and/or trailer camera system either. Since the trailer TPMS sensors only work with certain wheels as well, no guarantee they will work on my 5ver. So, I will be going with an aftermarket TPMS system that will monitor the pressure AND temperature of all 10 tires of my truck/5ver.
Plus, my 5ver (on order) will have a hardwired backup AND side cameras. Again, not compatible with Ford's single camera application.

Obviously, at the end of the day, none of this may work for me and you guys will all prove to be smarter. In the mean time, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

Maybe someone with a F450 would be kind enough to look on the frame to see of the TPMS sensors are there. I'm not exactly sure where they are or what they look like but I though I read somewhere that they are mounted on the frame. If they are there, I'd be confident that TPMS is coming for the F450.

Call me an eternal optimist - Mr. Glass Half Full! I did order the trailer TPMS and trailer camera in the hopes it would work with my 5ver wheels. We'll see when it gets here. Again, my motivation is that I'd rather have one system to keep track of stuff than two.

I don't believe there are any "receiver boxes" on the frame for any of these trucks. The sensors themselves have a battery and RF transmitter. The signal is sent back to the central junction box, I believe...which may also contain the RF receivers for the remote entry / remote start, and the proximity key.

OK. So much for that theory. Although, I suspect this module is the same for the F350 and F450. I'm still optimistic that I'll be able to the the on-board TPMS working with my F450 eventually. Same optimism for getting my wireless RV camera working with the built-in wired camera hookup.

Chat says it is in transit and still on for the 13th. Going to drop my slip tank off tomorrow for Bedliner. Have to drop my '13 off for the 5th damn time for the backup camera in the last 6 months. This is getting frustrating as we have to get a rental each time. Dealer is great and we love the service writer but they need to get it fixed.
Plus side, my wife has taken over my truck now and her rental has been platinum edges. Seem like nice little cars. I've been driving her 150 and it's a crap magnetic. Now I understand why she doesn't like it. Deer, people and cars have zero regard for it.
Going to check on the tractor tomorrow also. Box blade was supposed to come in back in November so I'll check it out too. The next two months are going to be very expensive for us

Brett,
Great news that your truck ETA seems to be holding. I'm really happy for you. I keep forcing myself to vicariously enjoy it each time someone else takes delivery.
As of this morning, Chat still had nothing other than "order processing" for me, so it looks like 450 lead times have slipped out some since you placed your order.
My wife is on her second Edge Sport and she absolutely loves it. She had an '11 and now a '14. Before that she had a Navigator and says she would not go back.

Still trying to sell my deck over gooseneck! I have it priced fair but no bites. Going to end up having to just buy a new one before selling the current one if this keeps up!

Just got word my truck is at the rail yard. They have been sending guys down to pick them up so they aren't waiting on the transport trucks. I'm gonna see if I can sweet talk him into letting me ride down there and drive it back so it'll free up one of his guys and let me put the miles on it instead of a kid. Once I've had it a bit I don't care who drives it but when I buy new, I like less than 2 miles on them before me. I'll pass if over 10. I'm weird like that. In this case I probably won't have a choice though. Truck is about 75 miles away
