After confirming location with 2 different casting, we are now machining our first casting.
***Coolant and higher speeds will be used down the road, easier to take vieos this way***
This first casting is a blem, so it is a great practice piece. We will slice this block up when it is finished to confirm where we machined & drilled is where it is suppose to be.

Track Boss Cleveland block update 11/7
Face mill...
So ended last week attaching the block to the fixture and just starting to machine the ends of the block. Today we were able to machine the block ends to spec, machined the clutch pivot pad, alternator location and finished the fuel pump location. One more milling operation tomorrow.
We are trying to mimic the original OE look...

Walking through the program to drill the oil galleys. Already broke 1 3/4 spot face drill. Guess we were not walking slow enough.
