Did an oil analysis of the oil from the f700. Has diesel fuel in it. I ordered a new lift pump and I have a couple sets of injectors to try out to see if it fix it. It has 2 different injectors in it now so maybe it had a problem that they tried to address. We'll see.

Also....It's race day!!
It rained again after I washed the old truck and the tires got dirty again when I loaded it so I need to unload it in town and clean the trailer and tires then reload and Then I'll be ready to run it, after I remove the weights and retune the tranny and adjust the wastegate for more boost, that is

Had some trouble at the track. I haven't touched this truck since the last pull of last year. The laptop I use for the tranny has been sitting in the truck since then and when I went to change the tune from the pull tune to the drag race tune it wouldn't boot up. That mean that I didn't have overdrive and it wouldn't lock the converter till 3rd. That suck but I still ran it. It would top out early in 3rd but oh well let's have fun anyway. The first run is always my best run and I went up against an srt8 charger. I left the line at 40lbs of boost and was going good till I noticed the hood wasn't latched! Yikes....hard on the brakes early before the lights but still an 8.3 but since I was slowing down I ran 64 mph at the end. You can see brake lights in the video.

Oh yeah and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that showed up with 1500lbs of tractor weights hanging off the front of their race car. I got some stares

LOL. You didn't pull the weights for drag racing? Love it. Wish I was closer to you, would enjoy seeing you at the track.

So last Friday I had jury duty, yeah. But anyway we got out early so I had the rest of the day to work on the truck a bit. I pulled out the 5x18 injectors and dropped in the 5x22's I got awhile back.

The truck didn't seem to like those bigger injectors. That and I'm still fighting transmission problems. Since my 1 laptop died at the race track I haven't messed with the tune in the tranny. When I was at the track it seemed like the truck pull tune was in it so when I went to the pulls I didn't think I needed to change it. Anyway the first pull I realized that it was not right, shifted into overdrive and fell under the charger. Second pull I flipped the switch that I thought would leave the converter unolcked....turned out it was actually the switch that put the tranny into dyno mode which meant it went into 3rd gear at low speed and locked the converter. Snuffed the flame again. The on the 3rd pull in the open class I manually shifted it from 1st to 2nd then locked the converter, didn't better but still needed more air. I got 3rd in the 8500lb modified then 2nd in the 9500lb modified and ended up winning the open class. I guess it sounds good but I wasn'thappy with the performance.

Then when we was loading up I went over to help my brother-in-law get his truck on the trailer. As he was strapping it down I went to my trailer which my wife decided she would get it on the trailer for me. Well the trailer was on a hill and leaning to the drivers side pretty good and I put my truck in 2 wheel peel to turn around on the track and the dew had made the grass pretty wet. This happened
