Here is the beginning of the rack. Needs blasted and painted. Tomorrow morning I'll get out and tack the receivers on and slid the rack in to drill the holes for the pins. The rules say you need to be 60 inches or less from the center of the axle to the far side of the weights.

Who knows anything about tractor weights. I have 2 different styles and didn' notice that some dont have the holes for the angle iron. What's the best way to cut them in there. I don't have time to machine them but I cut easily drill 3 holes and plasma the slots. Who knows

Ok so I stayed up WAY too late but I got the rack in place and tacked on. It's 55inches center to front edge so I should be good to start drilling holes.

Next is power steering pump and drill the gear box for hydro then ram. I think we might make it!

It's an 80amp plasma. Took some doing to get that cut. The weights are from 1977 and the castings had sand in them. It was like they was 2 pieces stuck together and with sand in the middle. Had to drill 1/2" holes to get the cut started just was away the material till it looked like an L. Good times, and even with a resprerator I've still had a headache.......but a head like this is bound to hurt.

So the weather man is bound and determined to ruin this pull tomorrow night. He keeps running his mouth about some rain coming in, but I don' put much faith in him since he's only right .02percent of the time. Anyway when I get off work in the morning I'll work on getting it ready in case he is wrong. I'l
Be up all night tonight and all day tomorrow and by the time I get to run I'll be looking like a crackhead with bloodshot eyes and all. Then break it and load it up and be back at work 7am Saturday. Stupid truck fetish
