I just verified on my laptop & truck.

To View/Read LIVE PID data in ForScan for the Exhaust Filter % Full you should use:

The PID for ForScan (Windows / Laptop) is DPF_SOOT_PCT_CL, % under PCM.
The PID ForScan Lite (iOS) is PCM.DPF_SOOT_CL (System Percentage of the Maximum Soot).

I contacted Forscan and they sent me a test version that isn't out yet. I have successfully used to to program my 2019 F-450.

This weekend I was messing around with Forscan and changed my as-built to the new code you posted that shouldn't throw a CEL. Well I changed it and it threw a CEL. Sorry...now my question is did you leave you tire size to stock size and just change the code to 0AAE in the as-built file?

How can we get all the functions for climate to work on an XLT?

When looking at the spreadsheet I am having trouble what the new code would be to enable the the scenario you use. Sounds like this is the exact setup I’m looking for.

I have not tried playing with FORScan yet, will my 2018 F250 STX allow me to monitor DPF % ? It is basically an XL with the small information screen and the basic Sync (blue tooth for cell phone, steering wheel controls etc). Also will it allow me to perform manual re-gen? Thanks for any help!

I'm certain that XL/STX trucks can manual perform manual ReGens (ive seen others talk about it).
As to the Exhaust Filter % Full display - if its not viewable In your cluster you would be able to monitor it via a smartphone or tablet (android / Apple iOS) via.

I was successfully able to program the horn honk upon exit with Forscan yesterday. Today I tried to program the DPF% and I ran into a weird issue. When I open the IPC module it actually shows written words of the different items instead of numbers. For example it shows DPF % then enable or disable. So I tried to change the value to enable and write but it just gave me a service interruption error.

Have any of you seen this? I can get screen shots if I need to.

Sounds like you are in the plain english IPC module, not the as built IPC module where you would make HEX changes. That way works too but as far as I know, the IPC is not yet accessible on the 2019s yet.

ok. So that reading was about the same than gauge show.. so i did static dpf regen.. and it drop back to zero...
that make me wonder.... i still think that is not the reading of real amount of ash or coal what ever you guys call it..
in the dpf... but the point when the truck want to regen so that the dpf wont have time to build up ash or soot inside of it ...
i m a mechanic and i have a garage here in Finland and all the european cars what have dpf the reading we read is the amount of ash in the dpf. And when that reading goes too high we do static regen... but some manufacter cars wont let regen after some point. And the dpf need to replace.
but we are talking over 300 000km at that point..
i realy dont want to belive that my one year old truck with 25 000km on the clock had allready a 60% clogged dpf on it..
if so then it has to go and delete and tune is going to replace that...
