My truck came with 4.30 gears and 275 70 18s (now running 37s) I changed the ratio to 3.73 and I think I tried 275 65 18s and a couple extreme moves ie 3.31 gear and 20s just to see how it affected the speedo but the Speedo was off exactly the same as before

Thanks for the write up and tips. Got the horn beep, mirrors, TPMS, and seat heat controls done.

Used this adapter
amazon amazon
and it worked for everything I wanted to do so far.

Good thought but I'm sure the computer references the wheel sensors, which gearing wouldn't have an impact on. I'm assuming there is not a speed sensor in the trans.

I think I may have changed the wrong key for the secure idle. Can someone confirm Key on the BdyCM #726-40-02 as x1xx xxxx xxxx? I did not save the originals.

I’ve seen several post about operator commander regen enable and what not. Is there a way just to command a regen using forscan for like one offs? I seen a vid where it was done in service procedures but I didn’t see it there for mine and was just curious.

Finally got the BT dongle setup on my laptop so I was able to connect to my truck . Quite the process to save all the as built modules , but I think I got it done . I added regen screen , heated/cooled seats , heated steering wheel to the nav screen . Also added digital temp above gauge .
Question though , is there a way to add oil pressure above gauge ? And is there any more clarification on the operator commanded regen ?
Thanks for this thread , I couldn't have done it without all the input from the members here !!!!!

Works fine for me on my truck and 2 others. Guess first hand experience is different.

If you only want to use it for FORScan you can probably just buy the adapter for 100 Euro. If so, message them on that page about it saying you just want to use it for FORScan and don't need their software.
Thanks for the info.

Sorry for the somewhat double post, should have multi quoted.

No need to get defensive. First hand experience for others has shown issues or I wouldn't have posted what I did. So, I was trying to prevent new folks from having a potential problem with an adapter that works for some but not all. I'm glad it worked for you though.

Have used Forscan successfully previously. Tried to use it today and I keep getting a license error. Extended License error. I reloaded the license key I've gotten previously and it does the same thing again.
Is the original key only good for 1 profile? I had to recreate mine.

I believe the license is good for only 60 days. Request another using your existing profile and load it.

Gotta generate/request a new one.

Finally got around to setting up and getting everything I wanted done. My question for the group is for DRL's. I have a 2017 250 KR Ultimate with LED headlights. I want to run my DRL "C" and fogs. I believe you can add the two digits, but want to know if anyone has tried it. Thanks

I'd like to do the same thing (DRL = LED "C" with fogs. I was afraid to try it because I couldn't figure out which values to add. I'd love to know if anyone else has been successful with this particular DRL configuration as well? If so, what was the input value?
