[QUOTE=Douglasmatthewc;17782335]so with the CEL coming on when people change the speedo ... Has anyone tried getting the ABS re-calibrated after changing the tire size using FORSCAN? I ask this because on one of my earlier trucks you needed to change the parameters in the ABS module also in order to not get a CEL. If this has been tried just disregard [/QUOTE
Instead of changing the tire size, how about changing the gear ratio to match the percentage change of the tire size?

FYI: I've added some adapters to my FORScan tutorial capable of doing normal FORScan changes as well as doing firmware updates when that future version is released.
I think I've already mentioned here that any Bluetooth adapter won't be able to keep up with firmware flashing but it is now the general consensus in the testing group (and with the FORScan devs) that the normal ELM27 USB adapters are not up to par for doing firmware either. I highly recommend a proper J2534 adapter for anyone considering this. In a recent test of flashing IPC firmware with this test version of FORScan, an ELS27 adapter (fastest ELM327-compatible adapter available) took 1 hour 20 minutes while the same process took 20 mins on a J2534 adapter.
The UCDS adapter I list from Russia in my tutorial is my go-to adapter for any FORScan or firmware updates; I own two of them just in case one was to break...this is how much I like this adapter.

I purchased the adapter and their software so I paid:
100 Euro (adapter)
10 Euro (1 token lvl 1)
80 Euro (extended license)
10 Euro (shipping)
----
200 Euro total
If you only want to use it for FORScan you can probably just buy the adapter for 100 Euro. If so, message them on that page about it saying you just want to use it for FORScan and don't need their software.
