So I've done a lot of changes so far with FORScan but one that I'm having issues with is the fog light switches off with turn signal mod. BCM, 726-28-02. My as-built is 0000-0000-0057, and when I make the change in the spreadsheet to 0000-0100-0057, I get the "incorrect checksum error" and it changes the new value to 0000-0100-0058. However, the change doesn't work. With the headlights and fog lights on, the blinker doesn't switchback with the fogs, but the respective fog light just stays off. So with the left blinker on, the left fog is just off, no blinking. Has anyone run into this? Thanks!

Ok. I was able to get rid of the double honk and set the police mode. Also changed TPMS sensitivity. However, I cannot find the IPC module to enable the digit temp above the gauge. I am using the OBDLink SX with the USB connector. Any ideas on where to find the IPC module?

Also, can I turn the rectangle LED driving lights off with the turn signal?

Pretty sure you need the MX version, or a cheapo $18 USB one that has MS and HS CAN.

Yep, the SX isn't going to get you into the IPC. When using an OBDLink product, it needs to be the MX as Tricon said.

Ok. That's what I thought. I am using a Windows laptop from work and it does not have the bluetooth capability. That's why I did not get the MX version. I changed what I really wanted to change.

If you decide to get the MX, a cheap BT dongle will work on a laptop with no BT capability...

OBDLink MX, 2018 F250, computer and MX link, connects to vehicle, identifies the computer module, then says "cannot identify vehicle, contact developer"

any ideas?

ForScan version 2.3.13

OK, you can also get the patch directly from Forscan. Send them an email and they usually respond very promptly....

The steering wheel heat on my 2017 Super duty never turns off unless I tell it to. Stays on even after restarting truck.

PM me and ill hook you up with any of my backup files.

What Tom is referring to is the heat cycling of the wheel. His wheel, like yours, doesn't shut off and turn back on. It stays on but the level of heat it outputs cycles. What he (and I) would like to achieve, is to have the heat output constant.

In case anyone else runs into the "Can't Identify Vehicle" issue, it may be because your vehicle is "too new". Got a return reply from ForScan support saying this was my issue. They are anticipating a fix in 2 to 3 days.

My guess is that this kind of message may be an ongoing issue as newer trucks are delivered.
