I started a thread with this question, but I didn’t get an answer. I’ll try to re-ask it here.
I bought a nuvision tablet and the obd mx scan tool. I got everything hooked up, backed up. I then successfully changed my tpms to match my tires. After, I tried to change my fog lights to stay on with the high beams. I get this error. “This adapter has CAN bus compatibility problems and can not be used in some functions.” Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Neither of these work?
Fog Lights with High Beam LED and some HALOGEN.
BdyCM as built: 726-27-01, xxxx xxx1 xxxx to xxxx xxx0 xxxx This allows LED fog lights to stay on when high beams are also turned on. This code has been confirmed to work with some halogen headlight trucks also. Also known as Bambi mode (to see deer better).

yup, got the extended license. That’s my thought too. I got the TPMS adjusted, confirmed that it worked. My second was the fog lights. This is where I got the error. I haven’t tried anything else.

Alright, here’s my update. I went back out and tried the change again, no luck..... I got the same error. I decided to try another change. I successfully added the digital reading to the gauges. Then I tried to add the Bambi mode using the halogen code. It accepted the change, but since I have LED’s it didn’t work. So, I changed that code back to the original code and retried the code for the LED’s. This time it accepted it and worked! Thanks everyone for your help!

Microsoft has no idea if your old computer is still registered or in use. Therefor, you can run the same Windows key on more than one machine. To be honest, you likely wouldn't need to register your copy of Windows to get it up and running in Bootcamp enough to use Forscan, but I think it would register without issue irregardless. I used my old Windows 7 disk as well which is still installed on an old laptop of mine. No problem there and was able to register. However, if your worried, complete the installation without registering your key and just run Forscan. You don't need to do Windows updates or anything so registration is a step you could theoretically skip.
Hell one of y’all good buddies want to donate a copy and the register code. If their not checking should be no problem.
