No, the oil pressure "sensor" is only a switch. Above 5 psi the cluster gauge will be in the middle, below 5 psi the gauge will drop to 0.

I started a thread with this question, but I didn’t get an answer. I’ll try to re-ask it here.


I bought a nuvision tablet and the obd mx scan tool. I got everything hooked up, backed up. I then successfully changed my tpms to match my tires. After, I tried to change my fog lights to stay on with the high beams. I get this error. “This adapter has CAN bus compatibility problems and can not be used in some functions.” Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Neither of these work?
Fog Lights with High Beam LED and some HALOGEN.
BdyCM as built: 726-27-01, xxxx xxx1 xxxx to xxxx xxx0 xxxx This allows LED fog lights to stay on when high beams are also turned on. This code has been confirmed to work with some halogen headlight trucks also. Also known as Bambi mode (to see deer better).

Fog Lights with High Beam HALOGEN.
BdyCM as built: 726-27-01, x0xx xxxx xxxx to x1xx xxxx xxxx This allows Halogen fog lights to stay on when high beams are also turned on. Also known as Bambi mode (to see deer better).

i didnít try the second since my truck hadLEDís, but iíll Give it a shot.

Did you get the extended license? I also rebooted truck after each update or change. Just to make sure it worked and that no funny stuff happened and if it did i would know which change did it.

yup, got the extended license. Thatís my thought too. I got the TPMS adjusted, confirmed that it worked. My second was the fog lights. This is where I got the error. I havenít tried anything else.

I didn't catch which kind of lights you have, so don't think the "Halogen" setting will work for you.

have your tried resetting your obd link and reconnecting back to the tablet?

Alright, hereís my update. I went back out and tried the change again, no luck..... I got the same error. I decided to try another change. I successfully added the digital reading to the gauges. Then I tried to add the Bambi mode using the halogen code. It accepted the change, but since I have LEDís it didnít work. So, I changed that code back to the original code and retried the code for the LEDís. This time it accepted it and worked! Thanks everyone for your help!

the bambi setting worked on my 2017 but it cancelled the dpf percentage screen out for some reason

So I've done a lot of changes so far with FORScan but one that I'm having issues with is the fog light switches off with turn signal mod. BCM, 726-28-02. My as-built is 0000-0000-0057, and when I make the change in the spreadsheet to 0000-0100-0057, I get the "incorrect checksum error" and it changes the new value to 0000-0100-0058. However, the change doesn't work. With the headlights and fog lights on, the blinker doesn't switchback with the fogs, but the respective fog light just stays off. So with the left blinker on, the left fog is just off, no blinking. Has anyone run into this? Thanks!
